Silicone Sheetings come sterile and can be used in many fields of surgery to prevent tissue adhesions, for example in the acoustic meatus after tympanoplasty, in the nasal cavity after septoplasty, or in the oral cavity. Often, large size silicone sheetings are customized prior to use and can be re-sterilized once as described in detail in the Instructions for Use.
